Abstract: Fibrocystic change (FCC) is an uncommon condition in male breast tissue due to absence of terminal duct lobular units. It can occur secondary to increased oestrogen exposure and warrants investigation to exclude breast carcinoma and other hormone-secreting tumours. Two case reports FCC in male breast have led to diagnoses of testicular tumour and pulmonary oat cell carcinoma. FCC may present as localised mass in the breast with classic radiological findings of heterogeneous, dense parenchyma. They are usually further investigated via cytology and histology. We present a case of a 38-year-old man with a previously biopsied breast lump showing FCC.
