The aim of the presentation is to demonstrate the viability of IT options to deliver high quality regional education. In 2006 the Grampians Palliative Care Team developed a regional palliative care training plan aimed at utilising current resources to greater capacity and minimising duplication of education across the region. Since the development of an annual regional training plan more than 3000 participants have attended training. Ongoing evaluation and training needs analysis ensure regional training needs are met, with quality and access being key training principals. Equity of access is achieved through use of video conferencing facilities, and the development and recording of pod casts.en
